NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - As the Nashville Predators are winding down regular season play and gearing up for the NHL Playoffs, Filip Forsberg is breaking records.
Friday night, Forsberg broke the Predators’ single-season goals record while netting his 10th career regular-season hat trick in a dominant 5-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Forsberg’s 46 goals in the 2023-24 season bested Matt Duchene’s single-season record of 43 goals in the 2021-22 season. He also achieved his 10th multi-goal game of the season, netting another franchise single-season record in the same game.
The Predators are headed back to Smashville to face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Bridgestone Arena at 7 p.m.
