Friends mourn missing Dickson County woman found dead in creek
Close friends and family of Emily Bradley are grieving as they make arrangements for her funeral.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - On Saturday, missing Emily Bradley was found dead in Whites Creek. Close friends and family are grieving as they make arrangements for her funeral.
Mina Rightmyer, a friend of Bradley’s for over a decade, is assisting in the funeral preparations. Reflecting on their bond, she recalled Emily’s vibrant personality.
“Happy, loves to dance, a heart of gold, gregarious, funny, and definitely her own type of human being,” Rightmyer reminisced. “I met her in California, and she’s the reason I moved to Nashville.”

The 44-year-old was reported missing on Feb. 21 and was found dead days later. The Medical Examiner’s Office determined Bradley’s death was caused by blunt force trauma.
Her body was recovered in a creek along Buena Vista Pike near Hummingbird Drive.
The Metro Nashville Police Department is pursuing leads to identify a suspect. They are also searching for her silver Chevrolet Cruze with Florida license plates.
Bradley’s family and friends said they believe she may have been a victim of domestic violence.
