GREENBRIER, Tenn. (WSMV) - Law enforcement in Robertson County will be monitoring Greenbrier Middle School on Friday after a note was found in a bathroom threatening violence against the school.

According to Smokey Barn News, a note that reads, “Im Shootin the School up friday,” was found written on the wall in a bathroom at Greenbrier Middle School on Thursday. The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and Greenbrier Police Department are investigating, but no credible threat has been found, Smokey Barn reports.

The RCSO and GPD plan to have an increased presence at the school on Friday to ensure safety and peace of mind for the students and staff. Smokey Barn reports that some parents have decided to keep their children home on Friday as a precaution.
