The Sonoran Course at Omni Tucson National Golf Resort & Spa has significant elevation changes throughout its landscape, provided by its location in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Although the dramatic elevation changes can cause some tricky uneven lies, they also provide beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding desert areas.

The layout is less difficult than the other golf course at Omni Tucson National, but it is no less fun and challenging. Two lakes come into play on a few holes and there are more than 50 bunkers strategically situated throughout. The Sonoran Course provides a more player-friendly course with the same type of challenges as the longer Catalina Course.

Somewhat of a target course, altho the fairways are not restrictive. You will lose some balls if you can't control the driver. Stay out of the many bunkers and enjoy the desert mountain views.
